Hikvision NVR Plate Search issue

Hi all,

I have a DS-7616NI-I2/16P NVR and a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P camera to capture number plates.

The camera is capturing number plates fine and I can see the last 20 by logging into the camera via a browser. In the NVR though, only 20% to 30% of the plates can be found from the plate search option.

I can see all the recording in the NVR using playback, but the plate search is not showing all the still images and recordings for the date range set.

There is no other filter apart from the date range and I’m searching all cameras.

Any idea why this is?

Are you running the latest firmware for your HikVision devices?
