Hikvision NVR DS-9664NI-I8 constantly freezing and then restarting?

Hi, im currently having a issue where Hikvision NVR DS-9664NI-I8 is constantly freezing and then restarting. After restart it works for 3-4 seconds and then restarts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did the restarting/rebooting just start out of nowhere or did it start happening after updating the NVR firmware? If it was after updating the firmware, can you please confirm the firmware version you updated to?

Hi Dan, no update done, just started out of no where. Im not very tech minded but how would i check current firmware version?

If the NVR is rebooting as regularly as say it might be difficult to log in (with a browser or direct monitor) and confirm the firmware version.

If you can't get the system > Basic Information menu before the NVR reboots, the other option would be to use the Hikvision SADP Tool to check the firmware version when the NVR comes online.

Hi, I have the same problem. I was running on fw 4.61.030 build 240123 , I was thinking it could be caused by an automatic fw upgrade, done. So I try downgrade to fw 4.61.000 Build 220507 . It became totally factory default, so I had to add all cameras again. The 3 Hdd maintained the old videos, and passed the quick test. But then few hours later, It began with no video screen and resets. Any advice or same experience? / Note> I have only 46 cameras 2MP max, 3 units of 6TB Hdd.
