Morning,
This post is in connection with the latest version of IVMS-4200 that you can currently download from the Hikvision Web page.
I just want to note, it looks like Hikvision "fixed their bug" in connection with how many cameras you can add to IVMS-4200.
Currently I have 469 cameras connected, when I was trying to add more cameras to the new version it would not let me, despite removing cameras. Meaning I think you can only have 256 on the new version.
Moral of the story I downgraded my IVMS-4200 back to what I had before. V3.9.1.1 build0230403
This version allows you to keep adding cameras, I heard someone max out at 1000. So will just keep going for now. Thought I would share in case anyone else has more than 256 connected as we speak.
