Hikvision HeatPro Cameras
The New HeatPro Camera Series, from Hikvision, is a range of thermal cameras equipped with temperature detection technology (allowing for impressively sensitive fire detection), a variety of deep-learning video analytics, and accurate perimeter protection.
Note: The HeatPro Brochure is attached below.
Thermal Technology
With its Temperature detection being one of its main features, it is important for users to know how the HeatPro Thermal lenses work, and what abilities it has to offer.Thermal Radiation
The Spectrum of Visible Light is only a small part of a large band of waves that travel through matter. Thermal Radiation being one of these. This is what the HeatPro cameras use to detect temperature changes.
How It Works
Any object with a temperature higher than 0 emits a detectable amount of radiation (with this increasing with the temperature, so, the hotter an object the more radiation is emitted). HeatPro’s thermal lenses are able to detect this radiation, and determine differences in temperature, allowing for this invisible radiation to become visible in the form of heat zone images.
HeatPro Thermal Technology Features
Visualized TemperaturesAllows the camera to double check for issues, and helps improve its efficiency.
Early Fire Detection
The monitoring of temperature changes allows for fires to be detected quickly, even before they occur, so alarms can be triggered, as users can react as soon as possible.
Alarms
Offers support for high temperature, low temperature, and temperature change alarms (all flexible, as well as the rule settings)
Perimeter Protection
HeatPro cameras also offer Perimeter protection features, with unmatched accuracy, as well as effective deep-learning analytics, making the series an ideal choice for any user in need of efficient and effective security. What It Has to Offer
Another benefit of thermal radiation detection is that it allows HeatPro cameras to capture footage 24/7. Users can feel confident that even in cases of darkness, low light or strong backlight, their HeatPro camera will keep working as effectively as possible.
Locating Objects and Potential Threats is also possible, even those invisible to conventional optical cameras. And, as they’re designed not to emit visible light, HeatPro cameras remain well hidden.
With Deep Learning Algorithms, HeatPro cameras are also able to accurately distinguish between humans/vehicles from other objects, and are capable of identifying them in challenging environments (when they may be hard to spot, or overlapped)
Alarm accuracy is also increased, as they are designed to focus on critical targets.
Camera Options
Case TypesHikvision HeatPro cameras are available in both Bullet and Turret styles, and are available with Bi-Spectrum case designs.
This offers two choices of resolution, 160 x 120, or, 256 x 192
Lenses
HeatPro cameras offer the use of two lenses, one Optical lens, and one Thermal lens, that work in tandem to create a thermal image with more detail.
These are available in a selection of lens lengths, listed below.
Optical - 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, and, 8mm
Thermal - 1.8mm, 2.1mm, 3.1mm, 3.6mm, 6.2mm, 7mm, and, 10mm
