Hik-Connect Hik connect does not playback events on iPhone app

I have an NVR and 2 cameras installed. Everything is working fine on laptop and i-phone (iOS). One problem keeps occurring. Hik-connect registers events, but cannot find the video for playback (see picture). If I restart the NVR it works for a day or so. Events can be played back via webbrowser/ivms.

I tried everything, including re-installing hik connect, nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Hopefully you can get some type of resolution for this well known issue. Having to wait 90-120 seconds to see who was at my front door was a dealbreaker for me so I removed everything. My new setup works so much better—I t’s not nearly as feature rich as my Hikvision setup but at least I can see who’s at my front door within seconds vs minutes. Best of luck, I’ll be staying tuned to see what happens.
