Firmware DS-7716NI-K4 / 16P - Firmware V4.21.005 build 190509

Hi there,

I am currently using firmware V4.21.005 build 190509 on my DS-7716NI-K4 / 16P which I believe was the pulled/buggy version of the firmware.

Please can you advise the best upgrade path to upgrade from V4.21.005 build 190509 to V4.30.061 build210313 ?

We would recommend that you first update to the earliest v4.30 firmware - v4.30.005 - before then upgrading to the latest firmware - v4.30.061

I remember reading somewhere that V4.21.005 build 190509 was released and Hikvision later denied it had been released and to get to the latest version you need to download back to V3.

Is this correct?

Apologies, yes you are correct. (a lot has happened in the year since this was first brought to our attention)

As you will see from this thread we did recommend that users running v4.21.005 should downgrade to the last v3 firmware (v3.4.112) before updating to v4 and beyond.
