Connect to NVR or Display Cameras over local network/ WiFi

Firmware V4.40.015. Build 200616
We recently had the above NVR and 4 Cameras installed on our farm. The internet is very slow and it’s painful trying to access the cameras through Hik-Connect on your Iphone.
Is it possible to connect to the cameras or NVR over the local network using your IPhone? I have connected to the NVR using the admin password, this connection seemed intended for windows software and requested you download a plugin for windows

Within Hik-Connect on your phone press the + icon in the top-right and select Online Device and it may find your NVR. Otherwise select the Manual Adding option of Adding Type: IP/Domain and enter the IP address of your NVR. Give it a name (Alias) like NVR Local then you can connect locally to that when you are on the same network or use the existing device/s when you are off-site.
