Hi,
The focal length determines the viewing angle that the camera delivers for you.
The smaller the number in mm, the wider the horizontal viewing angle.
e.g. 2.8mm is typically around 90-100° angle (it varies depending on the camera's sensor size).
On our camera product pages we state the viewing angle delivered for each lens focal length option, and on recent product pages we now also illustrate this.
