Firstly, install the Camera Companion from the Axis website.
Once installed, open the programme and click 'Add New Site', which will then bring you to the first page of set up.
On this page, choose a site name and a password.
Click 'Next' in the bottom right-hand corner. This will bring you to the next page, which tells you to ensure that the cameras that you wish to view are connected to the network and are ready to use.
Once you have double checked that they are connected, click the 'Next' button.
Now any cameras that you have connected will appear. Any cameras that are not visible can be added manually. Make sure the cameras you would like to view are checked before clicking 'Next'.
Select whether you would like to save to the on-board SD card or the network share. If you have already configured your camera's storage options, the set up will skip to step 5.
Step 5 will review details of the set up. Now click 'Next'.
Your cameras will now install onto the system and the Axis Camera Companion will load.
Your Camera Companion is now ready to use.
