Adding an IP camera to my 7204HQHI-K1/2S(B) HVR?

Hi just recieved a new colorvu mini pt cam DS-2DE3A400BW-DE

can someone tell me the steps to follow for the correct way to add the cam to my hvr IDS-7204HQHI-K1/2S(B)

Also.iv just realised the poe switch I use for my pc upstairs is actually a network switch and not a poe switch. Would a poe plug injector work then I can plug a a cable from my network switch to the injector then from the injector to the camera.

Yes, if you already have a standard network switch you can simply plug a PoE Injector into that switch and then connect the camera to the Injector.

Something like the Tenda PoE30G-AT 30W Gigabit PoE Injector will do the job.

This is the network switch I have and iv just ordered the poe injector you sent me. So tomorrow I should be good to go. Thanks again
