how do you manage low-fidelity issue when using IPC at long distance? I heard companies talking how good their IPC is but rarely mentioning fidelity. is this a commonly accepted default?

Hi

We don't normally use the term fidelity in CCTV as true to life recording is, as you said, a commonly accepted default so that's probably why you haven't found much about it from manufacturers.

Are you concerned with the image quality?

Hello, thanks for your answer. Image quality is fine, but data lost is a pickle, like you miss some motion at particular points. I guess that's why smart IPC for home/office is popular, short distance reduce transmission pressure. while out at distance HD analogue still reigns.

btw, my company has tested TI IPC, motion detection, low latency , low bitrate turned out to be OK, do you think it can conpensate for true-to-life recording?
