I have a similar issue with another Hikvision camera it doesn't recognise any card 128GB or 256GB I tried the Sandisk ultra too. Did you get anywhere?

It's a Sandisk high quality memory card. I have also tried Lenovo more basic versions of both 256GB and 128GB.

It's the latest available I've done a search. I'm told that I should be just able to put the card in and it should prompt for formatting the card. Should I try a pre formatted sd card do you know?

Hi Dan yes I can get to the camera fine. Via phone app or web browser. It just doesn't detect the insertion of an SD card.
