just done some tests, and turning off H264+ enables the "Max Bitrate" box on the NVR settings for that camera *and* enables the I-frame interval to be adjusted on the camera menu

the problem is that for most of the Hik camera feeds, and also for camera feeds that come in through a DS-6704HUHI-K encoder, is that the "Max Bitrate" box is disabled and greyed out on the NVR menu (on the encoder feeds, the "bitrate type" and "video quality" boxes are also greyed out)
