Hi @sportster Thanks for the tip but unfortunately that filter multicast flag is disabled already. the sadp tool was able to find my NVR online on an older version of mac os. so this issue is very much likely to be a Sequoia upgrade issue and just general mac not working well with hikvision...

Hi @Dan I have another mac laptop and have just installed sadp tool onto that. I can confirm that the tool sees my NVR as online. I guess i will have to try and persevere in getting security spy setup although it is not going very well at the moment.

Hi @Dan Can you confirm these settings are correct? preferred dns is my local IP e.g 12.45.1.195 and alternate is 8.8.8.8

Would this still be the case if (ive already got sadp tool and ivms4200 installed) and sadp tool and ivms4200 cant find my nvr online even though i can view the cameras on hik connect and can access it via the ip address. i think my biggest issue before being able to move to another application...

I have a linksys mesh network and one of my nodes is hardwired to the NVR. i have just restarted my router and have it showing as online. however the sadp tool and ivms4200 all saying its offline

hi @Dan Thanks for that. however it seems he has opened ports on his router which i would love to avoid. i get the whole hikconnect thing being open and could put behind firewall etc. i would just like to avoid opening ports to the outside world.

I saw that this morning and updated but still not working as expected. i cant work out if its an issue with the NVR or the cameras. i checked the sub stream settings of one that worked and the driveway and copied the settings but still not working.

I think it annoys me more that 2 of them update and 3 don’t. Also it used to happen until I believe it was updated the iOS app.

Hi @JB1970. I’ve updated but still the same issue. The weird thing is if u say click into my first camera and come out. All 3 are update to a preview of the same time.

Hi, I rebooted my NVR to see if that was the issue and now that arrow has disappeared. But the issue is still exisiting. Im pretty sure i have the latest version i can install for my NVR. My NVR is - DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P and it is running V4.61.025 build 220905
