Going crazy with browser playback not showing events or motion.

@Dan what is it they are saying they won't fix specifically? Are you referring to a K or I series NVR? On the I series NVR this does actually work again in 4.22.000 however the event markers that are working again there don't actually match what iVMS-4200 shows - which sounds like a bug that...

Going crazy with browser playback not showing events or motion.

Understood thefine line you have to take here @Phil Maybe those listed could be checked / logged with Hikvision as they are all demonstrable issues/bugs that people are experiencing.

Going crazy with browser playback not showing events or motion.

I have an I series NVR and am running 4.22.000 firmware and this issue is sort of fixed in that version. I say sort of because the motion / alarm markers are there but iVMS4200 shows different markers for the same camera - they should match but don't. Also in IE when trying to move the...

    Latest HikVision Firmware [76 77 96 NI-I] V4.22.000 build190821

Thanks Phil. Likely a typo - but the release notes refer to build 190822, but the file on the portal is 190821, which is the same build that was there under 4.22.000 previously Some feedback to Hikvision on this build - while the red marks now appear when using remote (web) playback the icons...

    Latest HikVision Firmware [76 77 96 NI-I] V4.22.000 build190821

Looks like 4.22.000 has been withdrawn from the UK portal with 4.21.008 now being the latest available there.....

    Latest HikVision Firmware [76 77 96 NI-I] V4.22.000 build190821

I am pleased to say in IE this fixes the bug they introduces with 4.21 of the motion alarm red marks not working on playback. However a new problem exists whereby if the timeline is dragged with the mouse it will often not settkle where dropped and will jump back to the previous position...

Going crazy with browser playback not showing events or motion.

But at leas new firmware is still being issued for the I series, so we can but hope it will be resolved. I really hope Use-IP keep up the pressure on Hikvision to fix this, as Hikvision have broken a feature that was working when purchased. I see this thread refers to a K1 series NVR - but K2...

    Inconsistencies in motion detection

As people may have read here I have had issues with the latest Hikvision I series NVR firmware causing the red check marks to stop working in the web interface of the NVR. I have recently tried using iVMS-4200 connected to my I series NVR and using the remote playback funtion to search for...

    New I series NVR firmware - 4.21.008

Totally agree - @Dan mentioned they didn't fully understand the Web interface use case, so he had to explain it carefully to them. Would be good when they get all of the alarm indication features workign in the web interface - as line crossing etc didn't work before, but movement detection did...

    New I series NVR firmware - 4.21.008

@fullboogie I tested it - it seems fine apart from the bug that hit me since they went to the 4.21.xxx versions - playback of recordings in the web interface no longer show any red marks on motion which works fine in 4.1.64 - so have rolled back again, as that is still broken in this version.

    Latest HikVision Firmware for -I NVRs - new V4.21 (76XX, 77XX, 96XX NI-I)

I have tried it - not too bad it works things aeem ok - but they still haven't fixed the bug that introduced after 4.1.64 where in the web interface playback no longer shows the red marks for motion, but works fine in 4.1.64 I know @Dan logged this some time ago with Hikvision. Maybe time to...

    Latest HikVision Firmware for -I NVRs - new V4.21 (76XX, 77XX, 96XX NI-I)

Hi @Dan thanks for this - only one of my cameras is a G1 model - however after upgrading it to 5.6.0 and tried with the new NVR firmware I can confirm the problem still exists in the latest NVR firmware so again have rolled back to 4.1.64 and all is well with this again.

    Latest HikVision Firmware for -I NVRs - new V4.21 (76XX, 77XX, 96XX NI-I)

@Dan I wonder if you've heard any more from Hikvision support on the bug you logged with them re motion indication now appearign in the Web interface on playback in this and later versions, yet worked fine in 4.1.64?

Is my Hik Vision nvr installed with latest firmware?

That is the latest version on the Hikvision UK portal for your NVR. The EU portal doesn't even have that version, the latest there is 3.4.103, so it does look like you have the latest yes.

    Latest HikVision Firmware for -I NVRs - new V4.21 (76XX, 77XX, 96XX NI-I)

I've tried this new version 4.21.005 build 190509 on my I series NVR. However the same issue exists as with previous- no motion indication on the web interface time line when instructions are followed to select single camera playback and select the motion detection indication icon. Reverting...

Latest version of Hikvision's SADP tool for Windows users (V3.0.1.7)

Totally agree with you @fullboogie The 4K screen problem also exists in the browser interface to the NVR as well - most of it is fine - but the times on the timeline at the bottom are minuscule.... Another bug to file with HikVision?
