I am running 4.22.005 for a while on my DS-7608NI-I2/8P now and have found it stable.

Suggest connect to the DVR via a cabled connction - both PC & DVR connected to a wired port on your router then you can access the DVR and set your new WiFi password on the DVR.

That implies you do not have the plugin installed. See the link on the black menu bar on the right hand side - if you install that then Local should appear. This is a different plugin to the original IE one and isn't well designed - after installing your PC will prompt to allow this to run...

Suggest try clearing the browser cache & try again. Sometimes when the web interface behaves strangely this helps.
