It would appear that I loaded firmware that was for a 16 camera system and now that I load the correct firmware, it only shows 16 cameras Is there any way of recovering from this please - yep, I feel like a Muppet and it took me ages to find the right wrong software ;-)

What is the best camera to use for reading barcodes on boxes as pallets are being loaded onto a lorry? The camera needs to be mounted roughly 1 metre away from the pallet as it passes by - ideally we want the camera to pick up the barcodes in motion rather than stop and let the camera read it...

Just wondering what would be considered the right way to - Optimise the use of disk space via video settings - Manage the space that each camera uses. Feels like there should be a setting that says "let this camera use x MB of space" Using the web interface and not seeing any settings that...

Thanks for your suggestion. It is a possibility, but the NVR is in the server room on the ground floor and the Screen needs to be 2 floor which is a network switch away. That network switch makes it harder to run HDMI over Cat5.
