I think this has been done as a default now in Hik-Connect, to use the sub-stream when displaying multiple cameras. HD for me also greyed out. I would say that this is to reduce overhead and potential issues trying to display multiple cameras at one go.

Nice review. I've swapped out one of my old cameras for this new model and I am very impressed. As you say, got to play around with those settings a little to get the best picture. In time I will likely replace my other cameras as having IR/hybrid is a positive step forward.

Are you saying you have motion detection activated on one camera and the other camera has line crossing activated? Have you rebooted PC since updating plug-in and then tried again? Possible Edge cache needs to be cleared

I still have one G1 camera (DS-2CD2347G1-LU). Odd how this new firmware is dated from May 2022 and only now being made available, a year later, and only the UK portal. It's not on EU portal nor global website that I can see. Have you updated out of interest?

Yeah I agree with you, does not make sense them posting old version on their website. No idea what changes are made in these later releases within the camera firmware etc. Plays nicely still with my other older cameras.

If you log into your camera directly, then you should see the option top right to download plugin from the camera. You can also see the version of the download prior to installing, assuming your using Windows, Properties, Details.

If you are able to logon to your cameras or NVR directly via their IP address then you can find out what your encryption/verification password is. Simply go to: NETWORK ADVANCED CONFIGURATION/SETTINGS PLATFORM ACCESS Then reveal password under field Verification Code/Stream Encryption key.

Not sure where you issue is. I do not specify any default gateway on the email setting page. This is what I have. Senders address and User Name are the same. Receiver Name/Address is recipient of email.

You do not mention "Exposure Time" (found under Image Settings). If that is to low, that can potentially cause you issues with motion. You might be on a default which is a low value. Try 1/50 but you might need to adjust based on day/night and available light etc. Martin
