Yep, tried it with both after I posted that. There's options to format to ntfs and fat32 from within the NVR which is what I used, but the same error gets thrown up with either format -

Hi I'm having this issue too. Trying to export videos directly from DS 7608NI-12/8P with firmware 4.51.007 to an external drive formatted as NTFS The selected files don't export and the error message appears when you hover the mouse over the export progress icon in the top right. Just says...
