Why would you ask specifically to downgrade firmware? Will v5.7.15 be a more stable version?

That I am not sure, I belief yes as I have chased firmware updates aggressively that last year in an attempt to resolve the issue.

Yep that is my setup as well. I have "Notify Surveillance Center" box ticket and I do receive notifications in Hik-Connect, but not all. Specifically at night time. This has been bugging my system for over a year now.

I've took the plunge and installed the new firmware and it is running fine as far as I can see. Looking at the firmware version number, this seems like an incremental update, not a major release.

That implies that following this site still allows us "I-series" users to continue to maintain our NVRs for the time being.

For the I-Series a new firmware release was posted. Apparently needed even for a non-supported (EOL) model. There is no info on what has been improved.

Thanks, I have the DS-7808NI-I2 along with some fairly new ColorVu camera's. The NVR should be newer than the K2 but I don't believe I am able to see event markers in Hik-Connect while the NVR is recording continuously.
