How many hhd's do you have installed inside and have you change from quota to group recording? Optimal is 10 cameras per disk, otherwise disk bandwidth of read write is at limit, and its burning out fast. Side effect is, freezing at playback, slow gui, gaps at footage...

You answered yourself. Some brands will do commodity, some will do security, and comodity in security costs. Its funny , but its true. Every brand stand out in something that other lack. Also some brands do not add stuff on purpose as they sell other devices for that needs.

Not really, problem has veen passed to hikvision, they aknowledged the problem and working on the fix. There might be other bugs, but i havent seen any so far with the things i used. I havent tested every option camera provides.

I just tested one G3 camera, and it seems that its buggy atm. On reboot AutoWDR always turns on, even if its set off. Giving redish image on every reboot. I would wait a bit if i were you with fixes

A lot of end users face same problem. Hikvision target distributors/resellers not end users. If you bought from authorized seller/distributor, ask them for a reset.

on phone you wont see any changes, only thing that weill be different is that you can switch between personal devices and teams devices. Personal devices will look exactly the same as it is now. You can always toggle team mode.

You need to activate Hik-Connect team mode in your phone under services, Move your personal device inside team mode, then automaticly your web will look differently

I did on non b revision is past when it was android 5. Didnt bother with new 1 (B) . Once i rooted it. I didnt have knowledge to revert back to how it was. So i didnt rly go for b revision. App worked great on phone. Still if ever extract it(easy part) signing will give you headache
