I've been setting most of the params at the NVR level where no analytics of the smart events are displayed. I will try on the camera. Would be great to view objects triggering events in real-time. Should make it easier to tweak.

Thanks Dan. Clears it all up. I will stick with the G1. Cannot wait till December. Also, I am finding UK stock is patchy at best with Hikvision. e.g. 4 or 6mm version of the G1 in black/grey. Feels like Hikvision need to get shipments in!
