    Help with exporting a file

Hello folks, I am trying to get a file of an event onto a USB stick and seem to be failing dismally. I have gone into the export menu and have identified the file that I want. To be on the safe side I have 'locked' it, I'm not sure if that is of any help though. Having identified the file...

Hikvision Officially Release V4 Firmware for their K-Series NVRs - V4.21.005

I meant to ask Phil at #11 above, is there a reason given as to why it's not for the 7604 series and will it be available at some future time?

Hikvision Officially Release V4 Firmware for their K-Series NVRs - V4.21.005

Does anyone know if this update will work with a DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B). You will note that I have entered the K1 in bold because the original post above seems to refer only to even numbered K Series NVR's. Many thanks for any guidance on this.

Loss of images on various apps

I have just been into System Maintenance and I'm sure that the following entries are errors :- When I go into 'network' the iPv4 address is showing as 0.0.0.0 and this is the same for iPv4 Subnet Mask and also iPv4 default gateway. I'm fairly sure that previously there were positive figures...

Loss of images on various apps

Hello again StewartM, Last night I realised that my cameras are connected directly into the back of my NVR which is a Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) and so my thinking that it is all on-line is incorrect. I have just been into the menu and chose 'Configuration' and straightaway I notice that at...

I am using a Hikvision two camera home CCTV setup and today I can't view any images via Hik-Connect and iVMS4500 on my mobile phone and, neither can I view any images via iVMS4500 on my pc, nor can I get at any of the images via Hik-Connect using Internet Explorer on my computer. I get the...

    IP Address

Thank you for this info folks, very much appreciated as always. I have been researching this (as far as my 79 year old brain will allow;)) and I see that I would have to manually put some sort of information into my router. Is this a straightforward process and how do I get into my router and...

    IP Address

I have been having problems when trying to view my CCTV images when I am away from home. It turns out that I need to use the IP address as issued by my Broadband supplier and so I substituted the one that I was using with the alternative. I set up my Android phone using this amended IP address...

    iVMS4500 for Android

I have just been into the app on my phone and I notice that there is an item in there called 'Configure DDNS' if I try to do anything with this (not sure if I really need to anyway) I am then taken to a page that shows various items such as Port Mapping Mode and Server Port Number etc, when I...

    iVMS4500 for Android

Yes I do have an account at Hik-Connect and I can log into it quite easily via my desktop computer. When logged in I can see the images of both of my cameras. When I go into the app on my HTC phone, I am not asked to sign-in/log-in it simply goes straight to the live images of my cameras...

    iVMS4500 for Android

Well folks, my worst fears have been realised. I confirmed in my post of 26/8 (above) that I had cracked it and that all was working well. When I am at home and am connected to my own Wi-Fi, both iVMS4500 and Hik-Connect both work perfectly but, when I am away from home and am connected to any...

    iVMS4500 for Android

Hello again fullboogie, Well I seemed to have cracked the problem. I decided to have a go at setting the app up manually as opposed to letting it set itself up automatically and, it seems to have done the trick. I'm just hoping that it will work when I am away from home, i.e. not using my own...
