The first time I remotely viewed my garage camera while pointed at an LED shop light I thought the camera was on the way out. It wasn't until I turned the light off that I realized what was happening.

Those are looong gaps, not just a few seconds. Have you looked at your logs in the NVR to see if there are power dropouts, network dropouts, etc?

Use Edge with the Internet Explorer extension. Make sure you "engage" viewing the sign in page with the I.E. extension, then sign in. Then hit the play button as shown above. Not sure what cams you have (maybe ColorVu?), but I don't think you're going to get the LED's to work with motion...

Spark - not sure what your current problem is. But once you log in and see the boxes that should be displaying the video feeds, hit the "play" button at the bottom center. The older firmware versions would just start the video feeds automatically. Now you have to hit "play" in order for them to...

The username should be "admin" and the password would be the exact same one you use when logging into your NVR directly through the monitor.

You should be navigating to your NVR's IP address, not Hikconnect.

I've got a 12 and an 8 in an I-series NVR. Never had a problem with the 12 at all. It will write until full then start overwriting.

Looks like you've narrowed it down to a wifi issue. If it were me, I'd check my ISP's up/down speeds both wired and on wireless, just to see what they are. I'd also check wifi signal strength at the point in your house where you are viewing it.

That looks like glare from the light hitting the little car nearest the camera. I have a bunch of ColorVu cameras, and one was getting something similar. It was catching glare from a nearby yard light, so I repositioned the camera and it fixed it. The ColorVu cams are terrific in low light, but...

You have to download it directly from the hikvision website. The play store does not have it.

That's where Hikvision is located. I believe there was a problem with a recent upgrade to the Hikconnect firmware. There are threads on here about it.

I'm willing to bet you don't have a static IP address and now the cameras have all been reassigned a new address. It's a relatively simple fix, but I'll let Dan/Kyle explain it.

It's right there in her original post. 8mp cam using H.264 = 11.5Mbps. Multiply that by 8 cameras.
