i run this version: V2.2.52 build 220518 i have no issues with this device, hikconnect works, also if i test SIP it works, no issues, quite stable Maybe its ivms related? try updating ivms too, i remember issues with ivms and newer firmwares , i run 3.6.1.5 build 20210831

i dont think it can be disabled, maybe you can setup the speak volume to zero? not sure what the difference is between speak and output keep pe posted, interested in this too :-)

I have now registered asterisk as an extension , so I can forward the call to my softphone... So I use the sip server on the device itself... So no need to register the devices on a sip server Advantage, if asterisk goes down , indoor will still work and also hikconnect, and still early video...

Yes, should wotrk, i tried 3CX before and was able to make calls from my ds-kd8003 But the indoor panel dont work, then run exosip agent, and for some reason 3CX is blocking exosip to register Now using Asterisk instead

yeah, make sure RTP port are open, those are needed for audio i believe it was 10000 - 20000

dont think its a codec issue, since ulaw/alaw are by default enabled are you testing from within LAN? because if you are after firewall, you need also RTP ports for audio, opening 5060 or 5160 is not enough
