hikvision stand alone solar cctv

Just to chip in and share what I've learnt, as I've been discussing these with Hikvision for a project this week...

Once the camera has been installed, you will need to use one of the following for full remote access (i.e. access to the camera configuration):
You can add the cameras to Hik-Connect, which costs nothing and lets you view them in the app or iVMS-4200. However, you will not be able to access the config menu.

The cameras have an RJ45 port which can be used to connect the camera to your LAN or directly to a PC so that you can use iVMS-4200 or a web browser to access the config menu and do the initial setup. If you don't want to pay for Hik-Connect Team Mode, HiKCentral Professional or a fixed IP SIM plan, then you will need to go to the camera and use the RJ45 port to change any settings.

Hi update on my initial post I checked the wall and it is possible for me to get power to a camera. So what i am looking for is a wifi outdoor camera that i can pan and tilt from the hikconnect ap is there such a camera? im looking online (im in Indonesia) on tokopedia amazon equivalent

with wifi directly, camera will not be possible to work with hik connect cloud.

Id suggest going with any PTZ camera that suits you with an addition of access point.

Yea for how long? All of them supported before, and with new firmwares they disabled it. I wouldnt risk it.
