Can anyone advise on this. The CCTV system in our new home has 3 cameras installed at roof level and I would like to add a 4th. I don't know the models of the existing cameras and I suspect that a lot of modern ones will not be suitable for the older DVR. Either fixed or pan and tilt POC camera.

Hi thanks for replying. It's a BNC co-ax cable. I know this is really an IP camera forum but I've had no joy elsewhere so far. I've connected each camera separately but there is no image from the camera each time. This makes me think that it's a problem with the Hikvision DVR

I decided to ditch home assistant and just use the free Reolink software with the RLC-810A. I am delighted with both the camera and the software. I bought a 256GB Samsung EVO microSD card for recording and the whole setup is absolutely brilliant!
