OK, found the answer. The 64 bit version of VS Player doesn't seem to include format converter. It is available for separate download, but not on the UK site - I found it on the US site. Format Converter V4.1.0

I've just installed VS Player V7.4.4 downloaded from Hikvision. There's no 'convert' function in the toolbox or on the right click menu. Is there something else I need to download? Thank you.

The data sheet for the 2CD2055 states that the resolution is 2560 x 1920. The options on the camera config don't list 2560 x 1920: What is the best resolution to use? I presume that anything above 2560 horizontal has been upscaled, but why isn't it offering the camera native resolution...

I have 2 off 2CD2055 cameras that have been used with a Synology NAS for the previous 2 years. Just bought a DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B) NVR to take over from the Synology. The cameras have Min/Max settings for smart events, but the NVR doesn't have the ability to review & set these. Does this mean...
