I have still got my 7608 K2 on v3 firmware but am thinking it's about time to get v4. Also to look at upgrading a couple of cams so it's gonna be an M series NVR for me rather than just a firm upgrade on the K. I may opt for the 16 channel as opposed to the 8 but my main concern is fan noise...

I have seen a number of reports on a Facebook forum that users are being hacked. The hack results in a message appearing on all camera feeds. Photo of one such hack attached. I've not experienced this myself but wondered if it is known to this group.

All 7 cams using between 3 and 4 watts each therefore the switch is easily capable of dealing them plus more.

Hello David No I haven't really considered that but can see it might be an issue. I'll have a look at what power usage I've got at the moment. I didn't purchase the switch, it was given to me so it's not a loss if it's not going to be any good. Cheers
