Thanks Dan Yeah assumed that might be the case. If I put those encoders in it would still mean dragging cable through to my 4 corners on my eaves to power them,or keep them together centrally and take the ethernet cable to the corners so I may as well just do the latter and get new gear. Regards

Hi I have 15 year old co-axial equipment and would like to upgrade cameras and if required NVR too (home use). Could someone advise me on some good equipment and adapters too as I understand some are not as good as others to future proof the system please. Regards

Hi Dan Thanks for speedy reply No idea of the model of camera x 4. It does have an NVR. MODEL DS-7204HQHI-F1/N/A I think they are directly fitted to the ports only because I have seen playback footage when she lived there but only from monitor.

Hi My Daughter rents a property out in Dorset. The CCTV was put in by a previous owner due to next door neighbour problems. Does anything exist so she could still use the CCTV and remotely get it on her phone without having to have internet in the property? Thanks
